Efficient Body Mechanics for Bodywork w/ Nate Novgrod

The proper body mechanics from a Tai Chi perspective.

Description

In this course you will learn how to maximize work/pressure while minimizing effort! The proper body mechanics from a Tai Chi perspective will be taught so you can perform bodywork without hurting yourself. The core principles of Tai Chi will be covered as well as how to use them to maintain proper alignment and movement to allow you to give 6-8 hours of massage with dramatically less muscle soreness, fatigue, or injury. These concepts can be applied to all of your daily activities to prevent injury, improve strength and balance, and increase circulation. The techniques from this course will be able to be incorporated into your practice immediately.

‘If you need massage continuing education here’s a little known fact: National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine [NCCAOM] PDA courses are valid for massage therapists CE credits. I’m surprised how many massage therapists in North Carolina don’t realize this.
