Join Jules for a valuable and insightful class for massage therapists that want to build and protect strong professional boundaries while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Whether you are just starting your career as a Massage Therapist or you have been practicing for years, Jules brings to light new, healthy habits you can form in the treatment room to assist creating a professional rapport with clients and protecting the power differential.

 

Jules will review the boundary models and through an interactive classroom, which allows participants to share their personal experiences and fosters a deeper connection to the material. Knowing the balance between being professional and compassionate is very important, Jules will demonstrate subtle ways to improve communication through body language, eye contact, tone of voice, and verbiage. Participants will learn effective language to navigate potentially harmful situations safely and how to diffuse those situations early on.

 

This classroom is a safe and judgement-free zone for participants that may want to share situations they have had to navigate in the past. Jules will bring some of her own personal experiences to the table for students to reflect upon.
