Heather Marie Rowell
Before entering the massage industry, Heather built a successful career in life insurance and global telecommunications, focusing on leadership development and corporate training. Her passion for education and helping others grow led her to design impactful training programs that improved retention and inspired personal transformation among her teams. Seeking a more meaningful path aligned with purpose, Heather attended the NC School of Advanced Bodywork, graduating in 2016. There, she discovered her fascination with abdominal and pelvic work, recognizing the deep connection between core stability and musculoskeletal health.
After graduation, Heather immersed herself in the world of Thai massage, drawn to its philosophy that energy originates at the navel and flows through the body’s vital channels. She earned her Advanced Thai Massage Practitioner Certification in 2017 and has since studied advanced modalities across four schools in Thailand, including 90 hours of formal Chi Nei Tsang training under two masters. Chi Nei Tsang is a traditional healing modality that originated in ancient Taoist practices. The name translates to “energy transformation of the internal organs.” It’s a deep abdominal massage technique that focuses on the viscera to release physical, emotional, and energetic blockages.
Over the years, Heather has helped countless clients find relief through visceral and structural bodywork—addressing everything from scar tissue and digestive detoxification to pelvic alignment. In 2024, Heather’s precision, creativity, and mastery of both Eastern and Western modalities earned her national recognition at the American Massage Championships, where she won more than 18 medals, including Overall #1 Massage Therapist in the USA. Today, she is the proud owner of Organic Touch Inc. – Clinical Massage Therapy & Thai Healing Arts in Mint Hill, NC, where she and her team blend clinical expertise with traditional Thai healing.
